Our graduate weather person Paul Wichansky has another neato web site worth checking: www.avisioninmotion.com

A patient of Dr. Nuzzo's for many years, Paul Stuart Wichansky continues to make a positive difference with New Jersey students. For twenty-one years, he has visited hundreds of classrooms to enlighten students to the perspectives and the realities of growing up with his cerebral palsy. By sharing his own experiences, and encouraging students to ask questions that would help positively shape their understanding of people with disabilities, Paul hopes to instill a sense of hope, energy, and inspiration that encourages them to realize their own dreams and goals in life. He credits Dr. Nuzzo with providing the encouragement and the inspiration that has allowed him to eventually conquer cerebral palsy.

Of all the exciting experiences that Paul has done this past year, his keynote address at the 2001 Special Olympics was among his favorites.  Addressing a crowd of 6000 athletes, parents, coaches, and student volunteers, Paul emphasized that, if you strive to be the best you can be, your perseverance shall faithfully guide you through the brightest sunshine and fiercest storms of life. He also shared with his audience the thrilling experience of jumping out of a plane this past summer, falling for 60 seconds at speeds near 120 mph, before the parachute opened at 5,000 feet above the ground! And he didn't tell his parents until a month after the experience -- a smart move!

For more information about Paul, we invite you to visit his personal web site, named after his favorite Billy Joel song, at

Recently, Paul has been asked to become a member of an exciting new motivational speakers bureau, A Vision in Motion, that promises to make a positive difference with children and adults. The speakers bureau specializes in motivators who have overcome tremendous personal adversities to inspire and positively shape the lives of others through their own programs. These programs focus on topics such as self-esteem enhancement, disability awareness, character development, and parenting workshops. You may hear a lot more about the speakers bureau in the coming months!
